Heady Topper. However, with this comes some caveats. It is the best fresh (drank at the brewery), and loses that intense flavor the longer it sits in your fridge as you try for the life of you to space out your four pack and not drink it all in 20 minutes.

There is no possible answer to the question. The correct way to phrase the question is "Which is your favorite DIPA?"

All the ones mentioned are great. My favorite so far is Odell Myrcenary.

Feel free to flame me for being annoying, OP. :stuck_out_tongue:

I heard there's a new Coors Light DIPA coming out, it's gonna be the best.

Before tonight I would have argued this until the death, but with the first taste of Heady tonight and DIPA being my favorite style, I think Heady hands down over Abrasive which I find both to be over Pliney. Pliney > Hopslam for sure but the first two are non debatable.

I am going to go out on a limb and say Maharaja from Avery is pretty awesome. I like to age it for about a month though. Not the best ( I believe heady topper and pretty much any IPA from hill farmstead is) but a damn good one you can get a lot.

Off on a related tangent, why hasn't Ithaca Brewery made a run at a Double Flower Power (other than the AlphaAlpha thing)? Seems like it would be a contender.

    This thread is great.

Zombie Dust is better than nearly everything listed, and it's only a 5% pale ale!

    [cheese it!]

Heady day in and day out. However, the one beer I've only had once that could pose a SERIOUS threat is a fresh Citra. Scrumtrulescent!
