So because I'm a bit of a collector at heart, but beer collection is growing too big, too fast. Summer is hitting very soon and I'm worried the temperature in my appartment is going to be too hot and could potentially harm my stock.

I've been looking online to see prices on small wine coolers. I figured this would be a good way for me to store a lot of my bottles at cool, but not too cold temperatures. Especially for those bottle that I want to age.

I guess I want to ask a couple of questions, baring in mind I do not have much space and I don't want to spend more then 200$ or so.

First off, would this be a good idea? If so, any recomendations on models, or needed features? If not, what would be a good alternative?

    Thanks in advance!

Too funny! I was looking at that one, it seems to be the best bang for my buck.

About how many bottles are you able to fit into this size?

About 24-30 bombers per shelf. (obviously more with 12 oz bottles) The way I have the shelves, the top shelf allows for Growlers, Bombers and Cage & Cork Bombers. (also the "The Bruery" size bottle which is a hair taller than standard bomber) The bottom shelf fits standard Bombers and, of course, 12 oz bottles.

    In short, plenty...

I have three eight bottle ones, and I was able to fit a mixture of larger and smaller bottles for when I started. I picked them up cheap...$50 a piece and probably fit about 32 to 35 bottles, depending on the sizes. Unfortunately, I have exceeded my max space and just picked up an additional 32 bottle chiller that was about $250 shipped. My eventual goal is to sell the 4 smaller ones and then invest in something like this, where I can have beer in one area and wine in the other:

Let me know how that Danby works out, if you pick it up. Reviews that said "temp isn't regulated well" scare me, as I don't want a ton of fluctuation, since I'm not around to keep a close eye.
