this beer is preposterously good. it's like MBC heard us talking shit in the new england thread ("why buy overpriced beer in 500ml when you can get better IPAs in 4 surrounding states for less?"), and replied: "remember lunch? ever had it fresh? now try this god tier beer, assholes!"

the aroma is amazing. the cereal grain backbone is as perfect and delicious as the best hill farmstead or NEBCO (shaun hill may scoff at the comparison, but for my money the malt backbone of NEBCO pale ales is second to none), and the hops are as fragrant and powerful as the best lawson's DIPA. it's crisp and refreshing, just dry enough, but creamily hoppy--thick, juicy hop flavor. tangerine and mango. it's excellent.

Tigers win! Cabrera with a 9th inning, 2 out, 3 run HR won it! Had to celebrate, so I dusted off one of these. Drinking SOOO smooth right now.

What a great game! When Miggy came up to bat I said to myself "they might want to walk him here", but guess it wouldn't have mattered since Victor homered too! It's kind of nice when the other team's bullpen blows the game ha.

 

Did my beer advocacy duties tonight and shared this with one of my brothers friends who is just getting really into craft.


He loved it. Then he was talking about how he had heard about KBS and wished he could get to try it. I disappeared into the basement and came back and handed him a bottle and told him to enjoy. Beer is for enjoying and for sharing!
