Finally, we will be able to get Birra here in Texas! http://prairieales.com/birra-headed-to-tx/ BIRRA HEADED TO TX! May 14, 2014 You might want to sit down for this blog post. Birra is (finally) heading to Texas & should be out in bars / restaurants towards the end of next week! I am out of my personal stash from Oklahoma, so I couldn’t be more excited about this news. While all Prairie is amazing, Birra has a special place in my heart. Mainly because it’s so delicious. For those of you who haven’t heard of Birra, it’s a sessionable farmhouse ale with notes of orange and black-pepper and an ABV of 4.5%. It pairs with everything I’ve tried it with, but strawberries might be my favorite. Don’t want to take my word for how good it is? Check out some of these reviews of Birra by people who aren’t paid by Prairie: “One of the most versatile beers I’ve come across in a long while: it’s light and refreshing enough to drink on a hot day, but perfectly complex enough to pair with some mild cheese or a nice meal. Another winner from Prairie..” “Overall it’s just so impressive and nearly perfect…” “A wonderfully constructed beer. Highly recommended.” We don’t have as much Birra as we would like; so for now, Birra is just going to come to Texas in barrels. What does this mean for you? Find it at your favorite bar / restaurant. But in the hopefully near future, Birra will also be available in bottles in liquor stores so you can enjoy it at home. We will keep you posted. Cheers, Jessi
Very excited for this. I'd much rather be drinking a beer like this over the summer than a huge barrel aged stout.
Now if I could only get Prairie in the borderlands. Guess I'll just have to get it from civilization; can't wait to try this. I have really enjoyed everything I've had from PAA.
