The newly converted beer lover lady and I are stoked to be coming down from Sonoma County. Also to help represent the best bottle shop & taproom http://beercraft.com/

Last year, we had a nice little bottle share at the Adelaide pool, where I brought a Fou Foune, and tasted some other great beers. I would love to do another bottle share this time around, but no hotel for me. Stayin at a house in Cambria. If anyone is staying in Cambria Friday or Saturday night, shoot me a message and my fiance and I can arrange a small bottle share.

We'll be Tweeting the beer lineup on Tuesday, the 27th, and Wednesday, the 28th! You do not need a Twitter account to view the lineup, just simply go to Twitter.com/FirestoneWalker

Now I have something to look forward to at work next week. BTW, @drewone where are you staying/are you bringing anything for bottleshares? Would love to see some local LA people I haven't drank with in a while...

Lame, since last year they started announcing more than 2 days before the event if I remember correctly.

I just got tickets from a friend... Sadly, the closest reasonably priced room was the Motel 6 in Atascadero. I'll be there friday and saturday nights!

Super excited for this brew fest!

Anyone know how many people will be in attendance? This will be my first year at this event. Is it super crazy with super long lines? Anyone care to give a break down from years past?

They also said this in the email:
    Surprise!
Are you ready for the 2014 #FWIBF Collaboration Beer?

We can't tell you too much just yet, but this year each attendee will receive a drink ticket, good for ONE taste of this specialty brew! You'll get this ticket in your snifter glass when you arrive; do not lose it! The beer can be tasted in two locations: on the grassy area once you've checked in, or inside the AT&T Pavillion.
Bottles of this top secret beer will be available for purchase at our brewery starting the morning of the Invitational! It's only available while supplies last.

There are some booths had long lines at last year's event, but they moved fairly quickly. Some booths had zero lines during the whole event.

Wholeheartedly agree. The longest lines seemed to be at FFF and RR and I skipped FFF altogether since I live 45 minutes from their brewery. Even the longest RR lines never took more than a few minutes to get through and I met some amazing people each time I had to wait in any line. It's truly a great fest and if it's under 105 degrees this year it will be even better!

I thought they might pour the Flying Dog collab from Savor at the Invitational, but I forgot about the 3 Floyd's.

Coming from Portland and staying at the Adelaide on Friday and Saturday - any Oregon beer requests for the bottle share?

I'm going to be in SLO and looking to bottle share the night of, if I'm still coherent.

If you do this event right, you won't need a bottle share the night of.
