I've never tried most AALs. I pass up on them in favor or water or tea when offered. I should be more open minded to them, especially when they're free.

No one is a "beer snob" because they don't like a certain style. Is someone a "beer snob" because they don't like hoppy beers like IPAs? Are they "beer snobs" if the don't like malt forward beers like Bocks? Lot of BAs claim they are unimpressed by lagers. Are they "beer snobs"?

Get over the idea that people who don't like AALs are "snobs." I don't care what beer styles you dislike. Give me the same consideration.

It's the sweet almost minty taste I get from it that makes it undrinkable. I can choke down most AAL's but Rolling Rock is awful.

 

Guys- I like that beer too, but as far as I know it's all-malt and still classified as a Vienna Lager, so doesn't really belong on these lists.
