Any chance of procuring a case of this via trade.

Is there a bottle count estimate?

I'm fairly certain there is no chance of pulling a case via trade... if I'm not mistaken (please correct me if I'm wrong) there was something like 60-70 cases total that made it to the continental US....

I'd think getting a single bottle of this would be pretty damn hard to do... but there have been some posted in the FT:ISO forum... it's a whale..

But I do believe they're making a new (bigger) batch for this year... Good luck op

This is the whale to end all whales. My connection who gets Cantillon like it's water has gotten nothing on this beer.

    Soooo...
Multiple Ms wouldn't get it done.

It's good, but not that good.

Just wait till next year when there are 10k + bottles available.

That's too bad you did not enjoy it, Marc!

In my opinion, it was the best barleywine I've ever had. Syrupy, boozy, and delicious... Couldn't believe it was 17% ABV!

I was able to land a single bottle but damn was it difficult (and expensive at $47).

Would be open to trading it but it would definitely have to be a special offer!

Yes, that would almost certainly work if you did multiple trades. However, if that was really your plan you're probably asking in the wrong place.

isn't the answer always "it depends"?

if you have M and Dave lying around of course you could get a case of this.

if the nicest bottles you have lying around are BCBS then even 1 will be a stretch.

all things are always possible, it just depends...

    Hey Connor!

That's an expensive bottle, but between now and next year it will be awesome trade bait!

I did like it. It was very good, and smooth as heck for the abv! I just thought it was a bit cloying and could probably use a little age . Also, thank goodness there was some hop bitterness in there or else it would of been really sweet. I guess comparing it to old ales isn't the best thing but I think I enjoyed BB4D and Old Stock Brandy more . And though not as complex or extravagant, Sucaba will always be close to my heart lol!

Comparisons aside, it's a damn fine beer and for sure one to pick up multiples of next year for the cellar.

For once living in AZ paid off haha!

I lucked out and found 2 bottles today at my store! Super stoked to try kf and then probably trade one to let somebody else experience the beer. If anyone is interested let me know.
