No one has posted about it yet that the search function could find, so here it is. 60 homebrewer teams, over 200 beers, 5 commercial breweries. To come this year you have to join a homebrew club, good ole TABC, but your $25 membership fee gets you a ticket to Brew Riot. Sign up at: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/40874962411962 @Canti4341 and I will be there as 2 Punks Brewery pouring our I is IPA hop-burst IPA and our Gimme S'more Stout. Come say hi and drink some good brews!
Our team, Mossberg Brewing, will be pouring again this year. Make sure to stop by and try a few beers. Got to hang for a short time with @cfh64 @kcbaby and @Mcal last year. I'll keep an eye out for the 2 Punks, @Indytruks138
I'm still not sure if we will make it this year, probably end up being a last minute decision. I'll be sure to track both of you down to sample your delicious brews if we do. Speaking of @Mcal, where you at homey?
Going down again next weekend for Encendia? We are going to do a quick cannonball run on Memorial Day.
Don't think I can. This will slide because there is a wedding related reason I need to go down there.
I'm back in KS for my little sister's graduation from KU so I have to miss it Disappointed because that was one of my favorite festivals last year.
Well yesterday was a blast. Nice to meet you @rainerschuhsler & @Krumb We emptied both of our kegs, estimate 400+ samples of each given out. We received a ton of positive feedback and some horribly divergent judge scoring. I believe the judges knew ****all about judging, you can't have a 19 and a 40 score on the same beer with no comments. Overall it was a blast of a day, got to try a lot of good beer and its crazy how professional some of the homebrewers here in Dallas are. @Krumb that sour was really nice, very light and refreshing, could crush a ton of that! Thanks!
A great time, indeed. The space seemed to be better utilized this year. And the quality of beers seemed to be much greater based on the feedback my friends and family gave. The Monday after is a day where I fight to regain my voice - always encouraging to see how excited the masses get for crafted beer, homebrewed or not. Great meeting you, @Indytruks138 - and thanks to @cfh64 for taking the time to introduce us. I wish I had gotten to sample some of your beers...but I didn't get a chance to leave our tent after the pouring started. I look forward to trying your flanders when it's ready. And thank you for the feedback. Very glad I got to share some with you. Brad - thanks for the feedback, man. Good to hang out a bit longer this year, compared to last, even though it was still a short amount of time. You and your wife are good people...look forward to hanging out soon.
