Started with a Parabola at Whole foods. Didn't know where the hell to go after that, so settled on this.



Pretty good. Just added it to the data base too.

It's a Great Divide Smoked Baltic Porter night down in Florida

 

moved on to a stoudts scarlet lady ESB. decided not to review it given that it's way past its best by date (thanks a lot, manchester wine and liquors), but it's actually a very solid beer nonetheless. sort of a heavy bready flavor and feel, along with a kind of undercurrent of prune-y dark fruit. i like it.

edit: great dryness in the finish, too. proper attenuation really goes a long way for me.

Have yet to get to try anything from surly. I hear good things tho...

 

TV (Celtics failing to clinch on the road agaaaaaaaain, NHL to see who faces Quick and the Kings), Diablo 3 and this:



Has a very unique and distinct taste, certainly flavorful. Refreshing as well. Kind of makes me think of a really fruity Hefe or something, hard to describe at this point.

 

I saw this at Bottle Barn and was scared to try it.

 

Started out with a http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/24355/64139/. Paired awesome with some ridiculously spicy BBQ chicken. Moved onto some cellar tidying with Founders Breakfast and Imperial Stouts. Not sure where to go from here....

 

Homebrewed British Pale Ale

 

I'm from WI and hate evrything about MN, but even I go there very now and then to stock up on Surly. It's that good. Go Badgers.

 

Celts cant get it done tonight. Think its gunna be a Burton Baton while watching the end of the Devils/Rangers game.

 

So far I've only had Furious and Cynicale, and I would say they're are great brewery. Definitely worth trying.

I love Rolling Rock bottles, in all their skunky glory. The cans however…

I can only drink them from the bottle as well.

Don't know what it is about the cans...

 

Had a be hoppy by wormtown bottled on 11/2011. The hops were still very present and awesome. Bottle conditioning really does wonders. Followed it up w a jabby brau & torpedo.
