    Completely agree. I had them all about a month ago. It seemed like the best of the three right now. I liked the Ap Br and Red wine more when they were first released.

    RW was my fav fresh but it thinned a lot with age. Just cracked my last JD at DLD and from what I remember.. it was really great :grinning: Kinda wish I had enjoyed a full glass..

    From Westbrook's Facebook yesterday (Tuesday): We recently tasted MC and decided it was not spicy enough. We are adding more habaneros to it and waiting.

    I was lucky enough to try Mexican Cake Batch 1 on draft at the Brickstore Pub pancake breakfast last Saturday. It had held up really well and was the first keg to kick.

    Frankly, I disagree. I was really excited to get to try it again, but that damned beer fell off a cliff. Everything that made it great was gone, and I wish I hadn't used one of my pours to get it.

    When I get my bottles, I will follow the advice on them and drink them quickly.

    I'm right there with @krmkrm on this. The barrel aged ones had a little more sturdiness but regular mexican cake is way better within the first 3-6 months, it just tastes watered down with age. The RW version is my all time fav and it has thinned drastically within the past year. I'd be willing to bet that the JD mexi is holding up the best atm.
