I stayed here right outside Decorah.

No complaints, although I imagine there are some more scenic spots farther out from Decorah.

I think I am going to have to make the trip this weekend too...I mean how can I not? After all, I drank my last sue last night.

If planning on tent camping, keep your eye on the weather for Sunday. Looks like there is a pretty good chance for rain for most of the state. Not sure how much though, so it may not be an issue, especially if you don't mind camping in the rain. Just an FYI!

Does TG sell growlers (meaning the containers) at the taproom?

    Also, do they serve food?

They sell growlers, don't serve food.

Yep my buds picked me up a case of David and at least a couple NT. They are both available as of close tonight.

Not a dig at all but the caps on the growlers are pretty cheap plastic without the greatest seal. If you are getting anything there for yourself or to ship you might want to bring a typical metal growler cap. I taped one up, it was overfilled though, but with just a little bit of shaking while rolling bubble wrap on it, it began to leak. The others were fine but I'm going to get refills for my trading partners and make sure I have metal caps. Buy some extra metal caps at a different brewery and explain. I did and they sold me them for $.50/each. Pretty cheap insurance. In the meantime I have tons of SuedoSue to drink in the meantime so I can get them a better fill. Anybody want to help me drink some. You're welcome over if so.

Anyone have details on bottle limits on NT and prices at all? I assume david is in the 8-10 dollar range with a case limit? Anyone out there who know the details would be great, want to make the trip maybe just looking for a bit more info.

I think it is a case limit on David if who I spoke with was giving me the right info although that could change it they get low. Wasn't sure on the price but I think close to $9 (somewhere around there). I was told NT was around $25/per and I'm not sure if there are limits or not.
Note that that this is all second hand information so take it for what it is. Sounds like David and NT are brewery only from what I was told.

Naughty Temple $25, two case limit
    David $8, two case limit

Most hoppy beer releases are 1 case limit, but maybe they upped it for the holidays?

Do they let you bring in food from nearby places, and if so, any places that are recommended? Thanks!

Per Twitter it makes it seem like David isn't going to be around long. It especially won't last long with a two case limit. How many cases did they produce?

For an even better result, Mabe's will deliver to the taproom. Done this many times.

Alright guys. I ended up making the trek up last night because, well, I got excited. They ran out of David while I was there and had to go and get more. I ended up picking up a few of them but the line was pretty long waiting for it and people were loading up with the full 2 case limit. So, if you are planning on going later in the weekend the David may be gone.

Prices are correct: $25/bottle for NT and $8/bottle for David.

    Good luck guys!

I understand the popularity of beer, but damn. I wish I had the kind of money to drop on a case of Naughty Temple! One of my buddies bought a case of each. That's almost $400 for beer. With a 2 case limit for each, that's just absurd to me and can't even comprehend that. I realize people buy for trading and for friends, but damn!

I went the poor man's route and got 1 bottle of NT and 2 David's. Sheesh.

I'm pretty bummed to hear there is a 2 case limit on these. No chance there will be any left by the time I can make it up on Sunday. #selfishpost #bummed
