Similar to Founders KBS?

Just kidding. I wasn't a big fan - but then again I was hoping for more bourbon and a thicker mouthfeel.

 

I might be in the minority here but BBB is superior to KBS, imo. Easily.

 

So I know this isn't distro'd or even can be growlered, but if you ever get to Burial Brewing in Asheville - drink the Skillet. And I mean drink a ton of the Skillet. Donut stout served with donuts fresh made from the brewers SO. This is life changing.. KBS will never be the same

I'm not seeing it mentioned on this list so I want to tell you directly that Kentucky Brunch Brand Stout from Toppling Goliath in Iowa is EXTREMELY close to KBS. I noticed you are from New Hampshire but this is a beer that might be easier to come by in a trade. It is pretty much an exact replica. Be on the search for it.

 

I have had my fair share of dragons milk and some KBS and I don't really think they are similar at all. Both awesome beers but I don't get any coffee in Dragons Milk.

I couldn't agree more. Have you had bells black note? Its everything that KBS was missing for me.
