Crawford definitely let some savable shots past but he can't be happy with the play in front of him. I was shocked on the Kings second or third goal (Doughty's), the hawks just let Jeff Carter chill in front of Crawford at will. Could have made one of those Corona feet up commercials out of the situation.

These two conference finals are gonna be awesome. I think they're both coinflips. Both east teams are flawed majorly (Habs with goalie and Rags with offense) and both west teams are sound from top to bottom. Pretty excited for the rest of the SCP.

 

rangers offense is a major flaw? funny, we've been scoring pretty well. and had INCREDIBLE looks.. last night was atrocious tho.. gotta bury those open looks!

I do agree though, Habs have an issue with the goalie situation. Rangers have the same problem the Hawks have, good shots that don't go in. However this thing plays out, the remaining 4 teams are the best of the best. Stanley cup matchup is going to be great any way you want to configure it.

Casual, I could care less about being here. Been doing more internet surfing/phone reading/game playing than working. My liver wants to know why I didn't take the day off so we could bond. I provided stats to backup my analysis that the Rangers have a (comparatively) weak offense to the rest of the remaining playoff teams. You just made Marty and NJ jokes.

I can only assume by best player you mean highest paid. Tough to pick a best player for the Rangers over the course of this year and playoffs, they have been really balanced. Their offense is good enough and can pile it on at times. Don't need to be the best just need to capitalize on their chances. I think you picked the right stats to indicate what the Rangers are offensively although shots/game is a little nit picky. Their PP has been good this year and as of late in the playoffs. Think you got a little lazy about your riding the queen comment. Rangers are basically tops in the playoffs in SA/G and PK% and have 3 of the 5 shot blockers in the playoffs (Boyle, Nash and Zucc). Again playoff stats are over a pretty small sample after only two series really and yes, Henrik is tops even if you said it in a backhanded way.

Now how about we deescalate the situation here and get back to mindless banter. Actually I don't have a choice since my previous images were reported (can't understand why the Torts one went away, he was holding a beer!)
