SO Ryan can you make sure that Westbrook updates the Facebook page or you post something here as I am going to drive 5 hours down tomorrow to get some of this. It is the only day I can come down in the next week. I know it is not your responsibility but it would be appreciated. I know I am not the only one to want to know about this. Nope, don't believe so.

 

I can't be there this weekend, but my 'mule' is already paid and ready to go. I'm looking forward to cracking one open on Monday!

 

When will this hit distribution?

 

If anyone is going to the release but doesn't plan to pick up the whole allocation please let me know. I would like to get a bottle or two. I'm sure we could work something out.

 

Tapping anything special to accompany the MC bottles tomorrow?

 

Certainly hope some bottles are saved for tomorrow. I know that's not first come first serve but with the amount of interest and with people coming from out of state I'd think the wise choice would be to have a set amount of bottles allocated for each day. If only I knew a little further ahead, working till 4:30 today and there's no way I can make it to the taproom before close living in Charlotte. Stay open later

Distribution only helps some folks. I, for one, am only in town for another week before I head back to Colorado. It's now or never! I doubt they will sell out before 7pm tonight though (maybe wishful thinking) and I'll be there upon opening tomorrow.

Yes and this "dude" works at a bottle shop in Charlotte, frequently drives to SC for Westbrook, and knows exactly what will be distributed and when for the most part. I can't rely on finding beer on the shelves. Gose has been enough of a pain in the ass to get, even living in Charlotte. I work two jobs and have plenty of things to do besides drive around for hours looking for bottles. In the past, before I worked so much, I use to drive down to Greenville about once a month to get most Westbrook and other SC distro stuff. I just haven't been able to justify a 4 hour round trip to buy shelf beer lately. If you're at all familiar with the Charlotte beer market and Westbrooks distribution you'd know that the few shops that carry it close to the NC border sell out immediately. Those places get picked clean minutes after the first FB or twitter post, and I'm friends with a couple of the beer buyers.. it's just too much of a hassle to be taking off work or driving down there in hopes of one or two bottles.

Now if I can drive around 4 hours, make a day out of it and get a case... hell yeah.
