Southern Star only filled one keg and tapped it at their parties in April. They bottled the rest.

Source: was told by bartender at Southern Star and promoted on their facebook page.

That's odd, because their distributor was going around Houston trying to sell kegs today. The post above yours is the main buyer for Cottonwood. If he says something about a keg, he isn't just talking out of his butt.

I hope so, I'd love to see it on draft! I'm just relaying what was told to me at the brewery.

Guys I'm the beer buyer for HEB on 249 and Louetta. We are getting a growler station in a few weeks. I've already reserved a keg of black crack. Hope to be pouring it around June 7th. Follow me on twitter @beervintage.

Upon revisiting the facebook post it said it was the only keg they were filling "for the next three weeks" so I guess they had a second run at it. This is one time where I'm happy to be corrected!

    Looking forward to the release!

Sweet, you may not know, but are growler fills going to become a thing at Houston area HEBs? Or just your location

I'm sure if my store is successful more will follow. But I'm not 100 percent sure.

Never saw any bottles of this 2014 release. Had several last year and all were good.

it costs more than a dollar per oz, i can only imagine what the retail markup will be.

Your math is wrong Chow. A keg of Tweak is more $/oz than BC

I think our price will be 18 for 32oz and 36 for 64 ounces.

Will we have to purchase growlers there or can we bring our own? Will be nice having a place that does growlers on this side of town.

Two Mules Tavern should be getting a keg in a couple of weeks. It's going to be a pricey 10oz pour.

Maybe this time it won't taste like Band-aids. I won't shell out $11 to find out though.

Maybe I missed it, and apologize if so...this has been released already? And if so, in bottles? I missed this last year and am not familiar with how previous releases worked.

mine didn't taste like band aids, just like butter (diacetyl)

I never ended up getting any bottles last time, so I didn't get to have any until a friend of mine bought a bottle at the saucer and we split it. I got neither bandaid nor diacetyl, to which I am very sensitive.

In fact, I loved it. I'm looking forward to this year's release.
