The Locals HINTS AND HAULS THREAD

At this point, whether I'm your target or not, I think you're just screwing with me... from me to the SE corner of MN is 1,010 miles, so no matter where in MN you are, it's >1000. Still can't rule you out even though I'm still leaning toward poorpatz, and it could still be rspauldi too (1/6 the size of TX is most mid-size states depending on how accurate you're being, most places are N of TX and all 4 sports doesn't rule out many).

Philly definitely does, it's never been the greatest location for locally brewed beer but we've always had absolutely incredible distribution; these days that balance is shifting dramatically (and not because distribution is anything less than superb)

Pizza Boy is over 100 miles away and unlike Troegs, they don't distribute; I'm sorry to say their beer will not be in your box. I think I do already have a Troegs or two on my list, and can always throw in one more, but there's a different Philly area brewer who I plan to feature pretty heavily and I hope you enjoy.

ps- Tired Hands only makes horrible awful beer that no one enjoys, so you will definitely not receive any. Or maybe you will as a gag. Or maybe you won't.

pps- One more question for you, would you prefer extra beer, or less beer and some glassware (brewer non-specific for now)?

 

Looks like that's out of Ft Wayne, IN with a layover. From Gary or Indianapolis it's about 2hrs direct.

Yea I just googled searched "chicago to Boston Flight time" and it said 1 hr 50 mins. I am confused how you got 3 hr 40 mins but maybe I am your target if you know the flght time even if it doesnt appear to be correct

 

Hint #1 - I'm shipping North.
Hint #2 - The first letter of the state that I am shipping to is a consonant.
Hint #3 - The state that I am shipping to has all 4 major league sports.
Hint #4 - Shipping to the Eastern timezone.
Hint #5 - The state I am shipping to is about 1/6 the size of my state.
Hint #6 - My target has AT LEAST 3 NFL teams within a 250 mile drive of his house.

Hint #3 My target will receive at least one growler from a brewery within two hours drive from me
Hint #4 My target has post to this thread fewer times than me
Hint #5 My target will be getting at least one of his wants which is in the top 25.
Hint #6 My target's BA name has more characters than my BA name
Hint #7 My target will be getting MBC Lunch which is one of their wants
Hint #8 The spelling of my target's state has at least two of the same vowel

Also, Hint #3 is back on - should be a very good stout that is only available via growler.

I'm down to like 5 I think, but my wife threw away my list so I'm going to have to regroup. The beer in on the move. I hit 5 wants only one of which is a local.

 

Curious, I know a lot of people have started shipping, but has anyone received any beermail yet? I really want to start seeing some haul pics posted.

For my target, you know who you are, I will be shipping Friday ~arriving Monday. Get excited for some awesome Illinois brew!

 

Down to 4 of you, but if we go by the rule that you don't get an adjoining state I have 2 left.

One of you have given a lot of clues, however may be ignoring that there are 2 teams that NFl from my state.

 

So after combing back through this thread I have 3 potentials:

@Poorpatz who is the last one I had left from my 1st list (after everyone was crossed off and then extra BIFers were revealed. @MCMASTERSANCHEZ's edit about shore lines I didnt catch the 1st time, and he does 'quote the Raven' (but says its a content hint) - super suspicious. @I_BYE_MI_BEER says his target doesnt have a lot of wants. I have 101. 'A lot' is a subjective term.

Can someone just send @kgncfl a box already?!? I want to read one of his Haul posts!

Well today was productive. I eliminated a few potential senders. My list is now down to 5.

To my target. I was loaded up with a certain style of beer to send your way and then saw that it was the style you preferred not to receive. No problem though, I just drank them and loaded your box with other tasty treats I'm sure you will enjoy.

 

My target will receive 1 bottle tomorrow, balance this Friday.
