Is this confirmation that I should be super excited?

 

My target will see his beer by end of day Friday.

 

I believe in beer karma too, but i've never included shipping early (in a BIF) to be part of that. While I hope my recipients don't mind, I like to hold my box back a little bit to provide some suspense, and allow for the hints game to play itself out. once the target knows his sender, then no reason to wait though (so I guess I better get shopping!)

"Both" implies only two members of this BIF are from the aforementioned state, right? And if one of them knows his sender (and it's not you), he could really mess with the other guy :-)

 

Yeah I thought we were supposed to wait to be identified, then touch base with the target to make sure address etc is correct. I also thought we were supposed to ship the first week in June, but I've finished shopping, so could conceivably send as early as Friday morning.

 

Not exactly a hint, but...

If you have done a good job with clues, and you have NOT eliminated me, then I am your sender. Only one person meets all my criteria. And while some of my clues were a little cryptic, they required significantly less research than some other folks!!

 

Hint #1 - I'm shipping North.
Hint #2 - The first letter of the state that I am shipping to is a consonant.
Hint #3 - The state that I am shipping to has all 4 major league sports.
Hint #4 - Shipping to the Eastern timezone.
Hint #5 - The state I am shipping to is about 1/6 the size of my state.
Hint #6 - My target has AT LEAST 3 NFL teams within a 250 mile drive of his house.
Hint #7 - My target has posted less times in this thread than I have.

Your welcome @Lehighace06 . I was going to keep adding 1 to the count Hint #6 until it eliminated you (thus the reason for 250 miles) but thought that I would allow you to save what little sanity you have left . Besides, I have caused you enough stress in this BIF already.

 

While still not 100% certain, I am now 99.99% sure that you are my sender and I will be enjoying some great MI stouts this weekend! While most people are wanting and sending IPAs and Sours for the summer time weather, I on the other hand like my stouts. I drink that stuff year around, even in the hot Texas summers.

 

Hint#? - my target has a very short username.
Hint#?+1- I have 3 barrel aged barley wines set aside

 

I was wrong! Looks like delivery is slated for Saturday, just in time for my target to still enjoy some weekend beers.

 

To my target: I will ship Monday morning after I pick up the growler Sunday and maybe a couple of locals that I haven't found as fresh as I like. The growler should be one of my favorite stouts (and hopefully yours, as I know you like stouts).

 

That is an evil element that I didn't even think about. Neither of the BIFers in that state liked it though.

 

I've been trying to figure out everybody's sender (at the beginning to help me figure out mind, now it's just fun), and I am pretty sure I had figured out your target's state... but that "both" and "neither" are messing with my mind.

On the other hand, I just finished packing my first box, weighing in at 22 pounds. I just have to wait until I confirm my target's contact info so I can stick an extra shipping label inside before sealing and shipping.

 

Either my sender is @justanewby (who has barely posted any hints, so it's hard to know for sure) ... or I've misinterpreted some hints from everyone else...

And little brother box, weighing in at 19 pounds, is also packed. And since I have to leave for work in about 6 hours, that's it for now.
