You are correct, sir! I fell in love with MBC last year and seek them out quite frequently. My local area doesn't see Lunch, Another One, A Tiny Beautiful Something, very often, but when we do, I'm buying. Another One seems to be my favorite, with Mo and Lunch running a close second. Peeper was the first one I had, and if I'm still buying it, that says something for that beer as well!

I thought Lunch was extremely underwhelming. I would not drink it again.

    Two things about Maine:

    1) Their bottled on dates are very easy to find on the label, so make sure it is fresh.
    2) The prices are higher, but to me that means they are easier to get. The price seems to put some people off, and in the DC area(which I'm sure is similar to many areas many BAs are from), things are super competitive to get.

Like many have said I enjoy their beers Judy not the prices. I've had lunch, mo, peeper, zoe and king titus, the only one I thought was "meh" was titus.

Yep, peeper....as in spring peeper, the frog (which is why there's a frog drawn on the label right underneath the name.)

I've liked everything I've tried from them except for A Tiny Beautiful Something, there was something slightly off about that one.

I've never had a bad beer from MBC. MO, Zoe, Peeper, Weez, Another One, Lunch, Red Wheelbarrow Ale, Tiny Beautiful Something..all fucking ruled!

Edit: Can't forget Mean Old Tom

Really enjoyed Lunch, but our store sold out quickly and all the other Maine offerings are still there in quantity and outdated and becoming shelf turds. At $7-$8 a pint though that I see it in my local MD bottle shop...lots of comparable options at fraction of the cost. Probalby won't be buying again. I've got Sucks, Dirt Wolf, the Truth, Hop Ranch rotating in seasons and available around the year to get my high-quality IPA fix without breaking the bank.

Only have had Lunch and it was incredible. Jut going by the label you know its going to be delicious. That's one book that you can judge by its cover.

Love their beers. I live in an area where other beer that is comparable actually sells for more than what Maine charges so I'm one of the very few people on here that won't complain about their prices.

Another one was a beer I received in a trade as an extra and it was one of the best IPA's I've had to date. So, there's that..

I'd drink it again, but it was still underwhelming for me. The same goes for Mo. I enjoyed Peeper and I still have a bottle of Zoe I have to drink. Mean Old Tom is a very enjoyable stout. All said and done, their lineup to me is ok, but not anything I'll go crazy over to find and especially at the prices they charge.

"I'd have lunch again, but I'd rather have another one."

Only makes sense to beer folk.

Over-priced. Their beers belong in 4 or 6-packs. While the price should remain the same. Or at least put them in 22 oz., but not 500mL.

The price also gives me pause. For some silly reason, though, it doesn't seem so bad paying the same amount for a glass in a bar; maybe that's because everything else in the bar is priced the same, but on the shelf it sticks out like a sore thumb.

I really liked the hoppy ones I've had (especially Mo and Peeper), and would buy again; didn't really think the Porters were all that. I'd also take Nugget Nectar over Zoe in a heartbeat, but Zoe over many other Ambers.
