What's your favorite serving size?

Before the craft beer explosion what beer did you drink to feel manly? Keystone Ice?

 

I like half pints cause I don't drink fast and can finish it well before it gets warm. I home brew and have three co2 and one beer gas taps with small size I can have a few of each.

 

12oz bottles at home, bombers/750s to share at home and either 16oz or snifters at bars depending on abv.
but really, i don't discriminate

I prefer a pint or 750 ml. If I know I'm probably only going to drink 1 beer I usually go for the bomber.

Is "lots" a serving size?

I kid, I kid. Actually, when out, I like establishments that offer 10 oz. glasses. That way, I can sample several different beers without getting hammered. At home, it doesn't matter because I can cap what I don't drink with one of those wine saver thingies.

 

Depends. Beach and pool, 16 oz cans of HT/HDR/2H Ale works really nicely. At home 12s are good, out I like smaller pours, I love to collect, but detest pint glasses for drinking, so out I'd say 10 oz pours are fine.

 

Seriously. Mines the same way. Who's in Phoenix that wants to start a tasting club?

But to OP, I'm beginning to prefer smaller servings, even less than 12oz so im able to enjoy several different beers in an evening without getting schnockered. I guess when it comes down to it, I prefer a serving size appropriate for the style and strength of the beer.

 

There is nothing that compares to the Imperial pint glass. Out of all my glasses I have one and it is my favorite.

 

20-ounce Imperial pint for some beers. I like my German beers in liters and half-liters. Some beers, though, I do like in smaller servings, like barleywines and heavy ales. I don't want 20-ounces of those in a sitting.
