Release parties are different; very crowded, limited admission at times, etc.

Pretty sure Hamilton's is a no- one of the more bar places. Neighborhood is a restaurant so def yes. Toro is ok if not busy, but atmosphere is more bar like.

Got you. Was thinking about giving Toronado a miss too, despite the fact that it seems to be pretty much number 1 on everyone's list!

If you stop in Toronado in the middle of the day, it generally has little to no crowd at all.

i might take some finesse, but perhaps you could ask your wife to take care of the baby in the car and pop into Alesmith for a few tastings?

Eh, I wouldn't say "def yes" for kids at Neighborhood. I'd say probably no. It's in East Village/Gaslamp area, and it's kind of a rowdier crowd. Maybe if you go for lunch. Waypoint Public would be a better fit

    How about Urge?

The Urge has restaurant seating and outdoor seating, in addition to their bar (which is fairly small). Definitely family friendly.

Rip Current. They have a side room where there is a big screen TV hooked up with Direct TV. You can have them put on kids programming to keep them entertained.
