Shipping hint #2: The box's weight in pounds is the answer to The Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe and Everything.

 

Maybe? Every once in a while (not this time sadly) my mother in law will take a box to work to ship from there. She works at a mail order catalog company, so the 10 metric tons of stuff they ship per day gives them a pretty good rate with FedEx... that's when I really do well.

edit: Also, well done! I wasn't sure if that hint was too difficult or not. (Don't explain it, I want my target to figure it out on his own )

 

so it was picked up at 6:15 today, right?

and while I was checking to see if I figured out your tracking number right, I checked the two boxes I shipped simultaneously last week -- one says it landed in St. Paul at 3:37PM today, the other one still doesn't say anything more than the fact that it departed from Kearney, NJ on Friday. No exception or anything -- should I be concerned?

 

Update -- 2 boxes have landed in St. Paul and should be delivered tomorrow.

If you found the weight, couldn't you also just check the destination?

 

Different shipment. I think both have the same weight!

 

I was supposed to ship by last weekend, but having just moved I ended up not having the time, so I'll be adding a second mini-box to make up for it. Should be out by Wednesday or Thursday at the latest!

 

I also have to apologize to my target. Your box will have to go out next Monday for a similar reason to one quoted earlier. I don't want it to sit over the weekend in a hot warehouse(vs. my nice cool basement)

Partly, cuz I wrenched my back yesterday, and I can't carry it to the car... LOL
Also, partly cuz I started a new job today and have to locate a nearby FedEx drop location.

 

I'm a math wiz buddy but this fedex app makes it way easier. Forty two pounds? Forty fucking two?! I'm gonna be up all night unpacking that shit when it gets here. Ridiculous. I'm really really pissed. Grrr. Rawwwr. Umm.... I'll be by my door if you need me.

For real though, I hope you like taped up bubble wrap, this will be your Wednesday night. Make sure it is your Wednesday night and that it doesn't go until Thursday, something in there needs immediate attention (it's the snake).

That's because the fedex driver picked it up, said "fuck this" and threw it out the back of the truck.

I think mine is supposed to land today. I called in sick to work. Not for the beer, just because I feel like crap, but the fact I'll be here when it arrives is a bonus.
