So I haven't been to the outer banks in 5 years now. Have really gotten into craft beer in the last couple of years so I never noticed if there were and good beers stores or bars. If anyone has been there lately and has some good spot is live to hear about them. Also I'd anyone would like to set up a ip trade I'd be more than willing to meet up. I'll be there Saturday June 14th-21st and any of my gots are for trade

Might be worth your while to mention where you are going to be in the Outer Banks... There is a thread ongoing in this forum about the Duck/Corolla area with some suggestions already but I realize you might not be staying that close to that area.

Trio is a nice bottle shop and bar. There are a few other destinations but not many.

Does Hop Drop n Roll make it out to the outer banks at all?

Not unless the shop that has it makes the drive to Charlotte to pick it up - as far as I know they do not distribute and the places that have cans are picking it up from the brewery themselves.

I am heading down in July as well. Is there anywhere on the way down that may have HD&Roll?

I will have to check out Trio when i am down there, thanks for the tip.

Depends on the route you are taking - what other parts of NC are you driving through? what highway?

Sorry, I should have mentioned that. I will be coming from PA, we normally go 113, to 13 to 158 then 64 thru NC to OBX. I don't mind a short detour for good brews.

Thanks for the info! I'll probably end up trading for some between now and when we go down in August anyways.

The furthest east Hop Drop usually makes it is Raleigh, so unless you detour a bit I think you'll be out of luck. But NC has plenty of other great beers!

If you're near Duck, there's a bottle shop called Sweet T's that also has about 4 or 5 taps. The woman that owns it used to work for a distributor and keeps a well-curated selection considering how touristy that area is. The shop is easy to miss - keep an eye out for it on the right-hand side if you're heading north through Duck.
