I just wanted to share some information with folks who may have entered their reviews/hads incorrectly:

Rahr & Sons brought REGULAR Bucking Bock, not the barrel aged one.
Moonlight brought REGULAR Death & Taxes, not the pinot one.
Nebraska already has an entry for Romancing The Cone under the Inception Series label on BA.

 

Good catches - Guilty on Romancing the Cone - than realized it and sent an update - is there no way to edit/delete ones own listing? Seems like you should if no one else has reviewed / scored it. Posting here was a good idea though, I noticed the Rahr one also - but wasn't sure. Almost made on for Kern Bunny - but than saw that was the 8th Anni. Knew about the Moonlight one only because I was excited to try it - only to find they didn't have it... The other one was I don't think a lot of people realized that the Ballast Point Victory at sea was Rye Whiskey, not Rum.

 

I didn't even see that Kern beer.

 

It was put on near the end (while they were still pouring Citra) and was just outstanding.

 

My wife won tickets to next years event from the voting thing!

I have to respectfully disagree... Alpine Keene Idea is IMO one of the best hoppy beers out there, and trying Fifty Fifty Coffee Vanilla was one of the better variants (compared to the bottles I've bought the last three years). Each to their own I suppose.

 

Given that the date was announced around this time last year, I wonder if we're going to hear the date for next year's event sometime this week.
