Plead the fifth in Boston area?

    I found this a few months back but I was wondering if there is any left? Even a bottle or two somewhere would suffice as I am trying to do a side by side with the bbpt5 I just traded for

    Check with Marty's, both Newton and Allston. I know they were planning to get more, but I don't know if they did.

    Gordons in Waltham (main street) had four 4pks left as of an hour ago.

    Amazing price too: $9 a 4pk. They got 2 cases this afternoon but they didn't announce, I got lucky and found it stashed in the fridge. I wouldn't be surprised if they're out by tomorrow.

    That just plain doesn't make sense...it's 12 a 4pk in Waterbury at the cannery. Are you sure?

    I'm 100% sure, I have my receipt. I'm sure it was a fluke at the store. Last time they got Heady it was $4 with a single can limit. Today I got two 4pks at $9 each but they showed up as "Alchemist Saison" on my receipt.

    Well that was sketchy as hell...I was told that since it is not distributed here (which it is) that I couldn't buy any until the beer manager arrives at 2pm because he takes care of the Heady sales because a friend brings it down from Vt for him. Instead I was directed to Hoptimum...oh well, I got my plead the fifth.

    I agree, picked up a single of PT5 and Too Cream to try them out and ended up going back for the whole pack!

    thanks for the heads up, my friend grabbed me a can on her lunch break today. excited to finally try this beer.

    re: Pt5, yeah i saw a bunch of it in stores last time i was in boston, shouldn't be hard to track down.

    I'm glad you managed to get one. Every hophead should try that stuff at least once. Absolutely amazing.. in my opinion, only Dreadnaught and Pliny are comparable so far.
