I would be down for the 21st, I have a bunch of bottles I've been waiting to open. Plus we need to get this Dark Lord vert done. I can have it at my place in Reading if we can get a nice group going, I'm a block or so from the Commuter Rail stop. If not let's find somewhere else and get it done! Its been too long.

there are tons of restaurants in boston that don't have liquor licenses that allow byob. finding one that isn't put off by hosting a bottle share might be a problem because they are mostly small cafe/ neighborhood bistro type joints. If you're looking for a place to bring your own bottle of wine on a date, no problem.

Eww, I was kind of hoping when I read comments about a DL vertical earlier in the thread that I'd already missed that. Oh well, there'll be plenty of other beer. (And if I can get into my storage unit before then, I can bring an older DL vintage. Though it's in NY, so it's somewhat unlikely.)

Oh, and yeah, the 21st works for me. Let's make this happen!

Would this be a day thing or a night thing? I might be able to do the latter (and would probably keep @london1o1 company while others are nomming the DL vert).

Here is the spread sheet, https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1xlNqjJz4OvzOxXxFR1PRedR7aTb9pL8rri7zE_ky4Hk/edit?usp=sharing

What do you all think about a 2pm start time? Earlier is fine by me if anyone wants to get the maximum amount of day drinking time in. Hopefully we get a nice day and we can have it out side and throw some burgers and what not on the grill.

@london1o1 that would be awesome if you could. I've had a '12 sitting in my cellar for quite some time now and its really just away to get rid of it, especially as I have yet to try any vintage. Looking forward to seeing you at the share.

@budgie the last share went from 2 or 3 until about 9 or 10 at night, so that's what we would probably be aiming for here. By all means come whenever you're able to though.

Nice ... although I think you may have just confused some chick from Jersey. :grinning: Cool, the wife and I and potentially one or two others might be able to swing by around 6 or 7. I typically don't like aged beers or seek out whales (there's so much good stuff readily available around here), so I don't have much to offer in those departments. Is it bad form to bring things that are high-quality but still pretty easy to get?

FYI, I couldn't edit the spreadsheet from my iPhone, my computer let me though. For those who are going to edit it.

I think we can all agree it doesn't matter what you bring. It's beer. If you want some suggestions anything is game pretty much. I personally have never had anything from Trillium. I'd love to try anything from them whether bottle or growler. Night Shift is always coming out with Art # whatever and new stuff thats always an option. Depends where you live. Treehouse in Monson Mass. I don't know where you live, but you can never go wrong with stuff direct from the brewery. And I am sure there is some pretty good stuff on shelves right now.

Anyone can feel free to add or provide opinions. Bottom line come and bring beer.

I'll be there at the bottle share. I can't edit the spreadsheet cause I only have my phone at the moment but I will be there with some good beer. :grinning:

Cool ... sounds great. I'm going to plan on this and will confirm when the date draws closer. I live in Waltham and there's always great stuff available at Gordon's and Craft Beer Cellar that I can nab.

@thegoon55 Sounds great! I'm still trying to figure out how to make the spreadsheet accessible on mobile devices but am making no headway. It should work on your computer when you have access to it though.

No opinions, but I did want to add I had a similar concern when I came to the last bottle share. It was just a bunch of cool guys there to share some beer. Nothing pretentious or judgmental at all. It represented exactly what I like to think beer is all about. Great time, great beers, and good company. I'm glad this is firing back up again.
