    I really wanted to crack another new brew for NBS, but alas, I opened a growler and a growlette of Beer'd brews on Friday, so I've got to get back to those.

    This is my second run with Hobbit Juice from this growler, an excellent single-hop DIPA featuring Nelson Sauvin. The better DIPAs from Beer'd can run with the big boys, and this one is included. Extremely tasty.


    Stepping up the heaviness a little. Just bought this album yesterday; all profits (band and distributor) go toward cancer charities.

    Thanks! Cherry-wood, 50-stick. Pretty basic. The analog hygrometer looks nice, but I use a digital inside for accuracy.

    Beer'd is a tiny nano-brewery in SE CT. They've got their first-ever bottle release coming up (according to Facebook, anyway). Something you can't get outside of this little corner of the state. Not world-class, but damn tasty, and it makes it quite easy to drink local. :slight_smile:
