Good evening BAs! Having this one right now. I've been unimpressed with what I've had so far from Spiteful but this is solid. Then again DIPAs with Honey are right in my wheelhouse. This is in the same conversation with Square Grouper & Hopslam although maybe a slight notch below them. Would like to try 'em all side by side. This could have the worst name of any beer though  Cheers all!

    Drinking Bell's Two Hearted

Pretty sure Larry Bell's inspiration for this brew was Stacey Q's 80's dance
track, Two of Hearts, not sure why there are fish on the label though

yea, it freakin sucks. Churchill got up every morning when the alarm went off, big ass tail banging the wall, so happy to be alive. Same thing on the day he died when he was bout too sick to stand up. Such a pure spirit, huge deuces and all. So it goes. Go for it though. Worth the pain.

No beer pr0n today, but I did enjoy a some Victory Dirt Wolf on draft at the local craft beer bar. Kicked those back with a mushroom and swiss buffalo burger, fresh cut fries and cheese wedges. I feel (and look) so fat right now.

Beating the Mets should not even really count in the standings (and this comes from a life-long Mets fan).

Ok, I will double dip here with NBS, but I stoppered that Smutty Farmhouse ale earlier and just finished it off with grilled Tbone, fresh broccoli, caprese salad, grilled onions. Yeah, yeah...man up and finish the bomber, but the freakin cork headed to the ceiling and it is somewhere in the kitchen. The beah was just fine...fine, I say.

Didn't get a great sear in the steak, but it was like buttah, baby, buttah....perfect medium rare. Can't wait for real tomatoes to jack up that caprese salad. Got about ten kinds of basil...come tomatoes!

My first stout tasting event (it's an event even though there was only 2 drinkers) was a big success. We warmed up with the lowest alcohol Maine Beer Company offering that had a ton of flavor for a 6.5%, moved on to the Brooklyn Chocolate which retained the lead for the next few (although by a minuscule amount because these were all top notch stouts (wells+youngs from 2011, Sierra Nevada Narwhal, Evil Twin I Love you with all my Stout, and Founders Breakfast)), before we gave the title to the Speedway Stout. (Perhaps because I billed it as the "Grand Finale") Regardless, our ratings are subjective and they were all amazing.
