So I get to town at 9PM today. How out of luck will I be on everything?

Side project is sold out, and the first BA Abraxas keg blew in 12 minutes. All is gone now.

Just curious - what was the per person limit for Saison du Fermier?

1, but you were able to get back in line for another if you got there early enough.

May not be the right place for this, but worth a shot!
I am flying in Thursday to pick up my bottle and I am hearing about a bottle share on Thursdays at Perennial. Am I able to bring bottle into the brewery. If so I am planning to bring some BA Voodoo and a possibly some growlers from Voodoo. Can anyone confirm that this is ok?

The bottle share is every other Wednesday at 4 Hands. Thursday nights at Perennial is a new release night where they feature a new beer every week. Check out the stlhops.com forums

^ What he said. New release is available at 6 and people will usually be popping bottles most of the evening. Just buy something from the bar and tip well.

@HoppyBastard2 that must've been you at the end of the bar when I picked up my bottles around 9 PM. I brought the paper with the photocopies of IDs.

Yes that was me. I had a blast. One of the best brew pubs I've ever been to. Great beer, awesome people, cool location.

Agreed. It was my first time at Perennial taproom and I was impressed with the friendly bartenders. I wish I could've stayed longer.

So does anyone know if there any significance to the black wax vs white wax?

White wax aged in PVW 23 barrels. True story.

Thank you for your contribution. Extremely helpful.

I'll send them a message just to see if they had two colors on hand, ran out, or whatever. Just thought I would try here first in case someone already asked.

I was there on Thursday night. No difference between colors, just did some black and some white. Same exact beer inside the bottles

I think they had some locals help with the waxing, so I was thinking maybe it has something to do with that, not necessarily the actual beer. Either way, I sent them a message so I'll post if I get a response. It could be just a random thing, but thanks for the reply.

HELP! I had my proxy fall through at the (very) last minute and need to have this picked up tonight. If there is any kind soul out there who can hit up Perennial before they close at 11pm, I'd be extremely grateful and would hook you up with the best suds I can procure in DC.

Realizing this is a longshot, but got stuck in a lurch here. Thanks all!
