    5 and 1 or 4 and 2? I'm good either way.

There ended up being 9 of us, so I am thinking 5 and 2.

I've updated the spreadsheet. Correct answers hi-lighted in green are final answers. All others are just the current answer (to be finalized at the end of the series). I have added a second worksheet to track the cumulative stats through the series. Also, in the event there is a tie for one of the statistical categories, if you picked one of the tied players you will be awarded with a point.

Your score is including the up to date player stats right?

Yes, just based on current leaders through 2 games. I did not fill in the categories that are currently tied for the lead (3pts made and turnovers)

I'm kinda surprised this only got 9 people, but I'm definitely excited that 6 of us are repeat offenders from the NFL Draft BIF. It'll be fun assigning targets for the mini-BIF since I'll have to make sure none of you have the same target you just had last month.

edit: Speaking of the mini, I know I got pretty solid interest, but I don't think everyone said they were in. If you are NOT interested, please tell me so (privately if you prefer) so that I don't have to wonder. For those that ARE interested, if you were not in the NFL Draft BIF (or if you were and your address changed) please send that to me.

Sorry didn't see there was a mini bif I must have missed that but I am in. Also since we have a bunch of people that were in this for the NFL mini bif it would be cool if we got different people this time around if possible.

Yup, that's the goal. Although avoiding in-state targets I think is more important than avoiding repeats; I'm optimistic I can avoid both.

Sure, mini-BIF is where the group of people in one bif (in this case for the NBA finals) do another BIF as a preexisting group. It's just an extra chance to send and receive some beer; in the case of competition BIFs like this one, I like the idea a lot because it means everyone gets some beer, and the 'losers' just send more than they would've, and the 'winners' just get a little more than they would have. Unlike my opinion on little league, I think "everyone gets a trophy" is a great idea in beer.

This mini-BIF: same box as the main BIF (44oz or more of 90+ rated beer). I'll assign targets to those that are interested, based primarily on geography (no one wants to get a box from their own state). In this case, due to all the repeat offenders from the NFL Draft BIF, I'll also need to make sure no one gets the same target they had last time (although I might see if anyone can get the sender they had last time for a little porch destruction retribution).

tl;dr: If you lose, you send two boxes, the second box to a second person. If you win, you get boxes but you also send a box to someone. Win or lose, you receive some beer. Any other questions, let me know.

OK I'm down. What are we betting/playing? how do you win/lose?

The only 'betting' is the original BIF, my mini-BIF has no betting, or playing. Also, no one loses. Also, everyone wins.

It's a pretty straightforward BIF among the people who played in the original one... Simply, once the Finals are over, I'll send out targets and you send a box to your target. Same box requirement as the original BIF (44oz or more of 90+ rated). I'll set up a Hints & Hauls thread once targets are going out.

Spreadsheet updated. A few changes in statistical leaders and and we have confirmed a game had a winning margin greater than 17.

Just noticed someone picked James Jones to have the most steals in the series...as I was laughing I scrolled up to realize it was me. Too many people with the name James!!! Haha

Updated spreadsheet through game 4. If the Spurs go on and win, it looks like a 3 man race between @mps , @allies_dad , and myself. We picked 7, 5, and 6 game series respectively, and it may come down to that question.
