Beer Release (Short's Brew): Cinnabilly

That looks like a new label for Turtle Stout. Is that coming this year?

 

I live very close to GR and it's not that hard to obtain these. Just like anything, it helps to have some small out of the way bottle shops that don't see a lot of traffic. You do have to pay attention though, if you slack on it for a couple days and then try and head out for them, you will probably miss out. I'd say the worst part are the limits being imposed on these releases. I've always loved going to Sicilionos, but their bottle limits are getting a bit crazy. A lot of times it a 2 bottle limit on releases like this.

 

True on stores like Sicilionos. Way to limited and overpriced imo.. there is a place in GH called mugs that sells all shorts releases at a incredibly low price (like huma there is cheaper then at meijer..) anyways they only get 1 case of the shorts release but never limit anyone..yet.. I could probably get a case of this or more u just have to be quick..

 

I forgot this was coming out already. If the taste is amazing as it sounds, I will want to buy all of them.

Hitting my favorite spots in Metro Detroit Thursday. Grabbing 3 sixers for sure.

 

Some of the best artwork for sure, loving the nightwheeler artwork and beer too!

 

Couldn't find any in my normal Westland/Livonia area shops. Seems we always get stuff a few days later than the rest of SE Michigan (along with Downriver). So I must wait patiently.

 

In search of this if anyone is willing to trade a bottle or two. Can ship or I'll be in Ann Arbor in a couple of weeks.

 

I live in Ann Arbor and just picked up 3 sixers.

If you are interested, I'd rather trade a full six pack than just a bottle or two, just to make it more worthwhile.

But I had this on tap before and loved it. I didn't get them with any plans on trading, but noticed he was from out of state and I'm always interested in trying something new that I can't get here.

 

Yeah! What gives?! Hah.

I'm in the same boat. This beer is delicious. Not a hoarder, just really really like this beer.

 

Tasting better than I remember, probably just a one six pack buy for me with my two favorite Shorts brews up next(key lime pie and spruce pilsner)

 

These Short's releases, all releases for that matter, just keep disappearing faster and faster these days in Kalamazoo. Depending on the store, the entire allotment is spoken for before I even get out of work (I still refuse to Facebook). Luckily a couple stores manage to keep bottles on the shelves for a couple extra days.

Anyways, was able to snag a sixer today. It has been a couple years since I have had this one, I forgot how much I enjoyed it. Glad I picked up a sixer, left a couple on the shelf for you guys
