Awesome, hopefully the Milwaukee area gets it on Monday or Tuesday then.

I really hope that it's amazing stuff like the previous IIPA.

The English Otter and malt base is similar to last year, and the mastery of malt body is classic NG... The hops are little different to my palate. It seems a little less bitter (fewer kettle hops) and heavier on the aroma dry hops (post boil), but the resinous pine flavors are still coming forward like last year and the IBU's are the same. There seems to be a good amount more clean bitter citrus presence in the aroma, but the flavor still brings about tastes of sweet fruits, like mangoes, oranges, etc. And I am not getting any vegetal flavors this year (oniony, chive, garlic)... That can come from overly long dry hopping... Like it has been fine tuned/perfected

Almost like it swayed a little more towards the new school hopping, but still holds onto the classic IPA roots, and the classic characteristics that Dan exemplifies in the beers he brews...

Is this the first time they've brewed that or has it been released before? Really curious what a BB Kriek would taste like.

Will do. I was just hoping I could combine a border-run with some new Wisconsin Brewing Saison and Sprecher's Summer Pils.

I've heard from a few that it's drinking essentially like what you'd expect a bourbon barrel-aged Belgian Red to be.

Not sure if you can find it by the border, but both Door County Brewing Farmhouse Ales are very nice.

I had bb kriek on tap at the 2012 GTMW it was the first beer I had so I remember it pretty well it was a lot more sour than Belgian Red and didn't have a huge bourbon flavor. I would liken it more to Enigma with some extra barrel character. At least at the time have no idea about what it would be like in a bottle now.

Yeah, I wasn't around for that so I'm only going off of what some friends who recently opened up a bottle (as in last month) are telling me. I'm looking forward to trying it both fresh and aged when it comes out later on.

I'm definitely getting a case or two lucky for me I have friends who work at my local liquor store so depending on what there case limits are it shouldn't be too hard and it will save me buying that many individual four packs. I only had a pint of wild sour and a four pack of enigma (I just figured it would be around longer) I plan on making it up to myself with this and I will never make that mistake again.

Looks like they carry Door County beers where I shop over the border. Thanks for the tip!

Woodmans in Kenosha had Scream as of last night. There was essentially a New Glarus mountain in the store, so I'm pretty sure that stock is solid.
