Mexican Cake NYC

Anyone care to share here or BM a place that is selling multiples? I might be able to get away from work for a few tomorrow so hoping to get at least 2-3 in one spot.

 

Whole Foods Columbus Circle was selling at $15 with no limit.

 

Guys at WF Columbus Circle had no clue this morning. Maybe they are sold out. WF Chelsea still has some so picked up a few. Guy said someone had 4 cases reserved. Can believe someone would hoard, surprised WF would reserve/sell that much to 1 person. Good luck everyone.

 

Yeah I found that some places had bottle limits while others didn't. C-Town in Astoria was bought out immediately with no limit. Astoria Bier and Cheese had a limit but also sold out right away. Got one in a random place in Brooklyn on Tuesday and 3 in midtown yesterday at another random place. I'd love to find a couple more; anyone know anyplace that still has in Manhattan today?

 

Anybody know if WF Bowery has any? Was hoping to swing by during lunch today.

 

I think they got multiple cases, but only put one case out initially. Friend last night had to ask, they had more in the back. YMMV.

 

Think they'll still have at lunchtime today?

Neither has Bowery or Union Square. Called both and no luck.

 

To be fair, I did get 4 bottles already, and I'm receiving ridiculous trade offers, which is the only reason I'm trying to get more. Would also be nice to drink more than one myself.

Anyone ever had this? The only comparable stuff I've had might be Bomb! and Chocolate Yeti, but there's no coffee in the Cake, right? Bomb! is incredible.

I went to WF Columbus. Guy said some BS About the beer team being out and that he didnt know if it was in stock.

WF Union - Guy said it was on order with the distributer, a few weeks theyll have it

oh, Bowery told me on the phone they didn't have it. womp womp.

 

It's quite possibly my favorite beer right now, certainly top 3.
They were selling $38 64oz growlers at Superstar Beer City last year and I bought 3 $19 half growlers in the span of about 8 days without giving a second thought. That should tell you how I feel about it. So freaking balanced, it's damn near perfect, IMHO.

 

Tri-Boro only has '13 left on tap for growler fills. No limit.
