Victory Dirt Wolf - help with Best By date

    First, I must say I don't understand why a brewery wouldn't just put the bottled on date on their packaging.

    With regard to Victory Dirt Wolf, a case that says it is best by 9/17/14 was bottled when?

    Any help is much appreciated!

    Because they don't want to use up space on the packaging telling you which bottling line they use. Bottled on dates are ambiguous if you don't know the bottling line.
