What does your BA username mean?

Nickname, dating back to HS, originated based on the baseball player Jose Oquendo (STL Cardinals).

 

uhhh....mine means my wife and I's email prefix. was just being lazy way back in 2007 and had no idea I'd be spending so much damn time here (or all the $ on beer). Probably should look to change to something more creative...but whatever.

 

I have a bottle of that in my cellar, planning on busting it out for a wedding anniversary (I got married in '99). Glad to hear it's good stuff. . . .

Got the nick "woodchip" over 20yrs ago when one of my bandmates got hit in the face by a woodchip that came from from one of my drumsticks while playing.

 

I have a small side business named Liquid Amber Books (a play on words of the species name for sweet gum tree, Liquidambar). Everyone told me that my book business name sounded more appropriate for beer. And they were right. So here it is, doing double duty.

 

My initials, plus the house number of a place I lived with four of my best friends. We called it the Palindrome. There was a sign in the front window that said "A Man, A Plan, A Canal, Panama."

Back in highschool my neighbor/friend's AIM screen name was Iammark5, so I picked Iamjeff6. I've used it for 99% of the forums i'm on since then.

 

"Mip" was a term a bunch of friends and I used on Diablo when one would "Steal" a good drop from a Mob that someone else killed. It was one of our favorite things to do to each other while we were online together. We would shout that we got "Mipped" on screen. No Idea why.........we just said it. I was much better at doing it than others......so they would say "Damn You Mipper!" 14 years later........the name still sticks. My son laughs at me because of that and the image of a bunch of "old guys" computer gaming together.

 

Mine is a reference to a song by the pirate metal band Alestorm. The Huntmaster brewed the best beer in the world and killed people with a tankard of ale... Need I say more?
