Opened mine tonight right after an 11' BCBS. Loved it, easily better than the BCBS. In fact, Bramble is probably my second favorite beer ever. Totally surprised. Preferred it over KBS, BCBS, any CA IPA, any sour, damn. Thinking about trading all my beats for more Bramble.

I also think Bramble is stellar. I wish I could obtain more, such a treat!

Had one last weekend. Definitely better than the first time I had it. I'd say drink it, just make sure you're sharing it.

i just had my first go at it, and easily the best bcbs variation of the year. How its an avg 4.1 vs coffee's 4.7 is beyond me

Because coffee >> berries, clearly! :stuck_out_tongue:

I was able to try some bramble at a tasting a few months ago (March?). I did not enjoy it as much as the rest of the group... the berries were too overpowering and did not blend well with the base beer. I could see this being a good-great beer in 6 months time, though.

I finally popped my Bramble the other night and thought it was drinking fantastically. The berries were moderately noticeable, adding just the right amount of tartness, sweetness and acidity to a fantastic base beer. I had a "regular" BCS on-tap last weekend and really enjoyed it, but the booziness was so over the top. This time around, I definitely preferred the Bramble to it.

Yeah it went from an overly sweet lindley park-minus honey like beer to something real special the past 9 months

I loved it when I shared a bottle 4 ways in June. I recently traded for my own bottle, and I can't wait to crack it. We'll see if it can wait until my birthday in March.....

Drank one on Saturday. Tons of berry, but still a little hot. Maybe 6 more months would have been the sweet spot.

Just had one a couple weeks ago, and it drank incredibly well. Much better than the one I cracked back in March. The extra 6 months' conditioning seems to have helped a lot. Makes me sad that I only have two left, since I'm hesitant to open one.
