Reference to Pabst Blue Ribbon being the devil, much like the apple in the garden. Pabst started to creep into my then world of craft & imports...at bowling, at darts, where most of the time @ the majority of these establishments Michelob (MAYBE) was the closest you'd get to "craft." Then hanging out w/friends it would appear in shot recipes & beer can chicken...I'd always finish off the Ribbon left overs as the brew was frowned upon by the clan, whatever, thus was born the Blue Ribbon Ministry

It's a combination of The Black Lodge from Twin Peaks ( A TV show from 1990-1991 - that's the Black Lodge floor you see in my avatar) and the 4 is the day of the month I was born .

Königstiger means king tiger in German. The literal translation is Bengal tiger.

I'm a WW2 armor buff and the Königstiger was the 70 ton Tiger II tank with a high velocity 88 mm gun first used in combat in Normandy in July 1944.

I really enjoy the song Into The Painted Grey by the atmospheric black metal band Agalloch... Clever, I know.

My namesake was a 12th century minstrel in Germany.

Most of the liquid he drank must have been beer, right? Maybe he even brewed it himself or his wife did.

Back in High School when I was setting up my Xbox Live account I wanted "DoraTheExploder" but much to my chagrin that was taken....so I went with the nest thing that popped in my head, which was "MasterPenguins." I know I'm weird....but I have used it form almost everything ever since.

In high school, my buddy mark cosm had this amazing van with a couch in the back and he would regularly get kegs and we would have parties out of the back of his van. His license plate said ice man (actually was 1ceman) so we called it the ice van, so when user name time came around all I could think about is how I had my first beer on the cosm ice van so I went with that.

    Cheers
