What does your BA avatar mean?

Awesome! no too many peopel seem to knwo that venomous mammals even exist.
I used to have a Slow Loris dancing with a Pangolin photo as an avatar from another forum....back when i wasnt too cool for avatars...obviously

 

I drew myself onto the label of our (Clown Shoes) Texas only release "The Good the Bad and the Unidragon". That is me as "the Good"

 

I actually thought that the platypus was the only one, so I learned something there .

 

This is Vincent Price as Dr. Craven from "The Raven," a 1963 B-movie about sorcerers...or, wizards.

My previous avatars have been the giant green head from the Wizard of Oz, "Evil" from Time Bandits, and one of my favorites was just this cheesy pastel or something someone had done with Merlin (presumably), Excalibur being held up by the Lady of the Lake, and a random unicorn in the background. Oh, and Mola Ram from Indiana Jones Temple of Doom. All wizards.

Well it kinda depends how you define venomous.
the platypus is the most certainly venomous by typical comparisons to reptiles, fish, amphibians.
Some of the other mammals just deliberately smear the venom of other animals on their bodies (tenrecs, hedgehogs).Pangolins and many mustelids kind of spray a toxin so its debatable with them. I say the lorises count because they produce the venom they use.
But moles and most shrews probably count by any definition.

My cousin just opened Flagship Brewing in Staten Island, NY. First brewery in 50 years on the Island. Thus the avatar.

 

It's Batman punching the "Bud Man" in the face...it was made by a fellow BAer, and it pretty much sums up my overall disdain for the practices of AB-Inbev, while incorporating my childhood love of the Caped Crusader.

 

Mine is some princess awesomeness that my daughters created and somehow saved in my pictures folder. I thought it beats anything else I have, so why not?

 

It means I'm fucking awesome.

 

Mine is L'Ange_du_Foyeur by the surrealist Max Ernst, one of my favorite artists. I like this figure; is it really ecstatically happy or raving angry? Is the other one joining in the fun or trying to restrain the first? I chose it for BA because it also reminded me of how I feel after choosing the more fun but ultimately regrettable answer to the question "I wonder if I should finish this 750 of barrel aged stout by myself?".

 

Mine is a picture of a shamrock plant that my grandmother gave me at its best. I kept it in my window sill at my crappy apartment and the Polar Vortex claimed its life. I'm not proud of that.
