    Heads up, the traffic on 35 NB is horrendous. Took me 5 hours to get from JK to Dallas. It was stop-and-go from Austin to West.

    Take the back roads. It may not be a whole lot faster, but it sure is less stressful than all the stop and go traffic on 35. Plus IMO, the scenery is much better. I'm in Fort Worth, and I go the Cleburne, Glen Rose, Hamilton, and Lampasas way. Might not make much sense if you are coming from Dallas proper, but I recommend it if you are on the west side of the DFW area.

    Yeah I will take 35 down since it will be mid-day Friday, but coming home on Sunday I am planning on the back way. 35N is the wurst.

    Parents mentioned they'll be at a wedding in Austin this week. My face lit up, my fiancee looked at me judgingly, and then my dad said they would see if they could make it to Jester King and take my aunt and uncle with them.

    Yes. Atrial Rubicite will be on the list. Independence Day weekend will probably be the last weekend we have Nocturn Chrysalis.
