I like the oversized wine glasses for big aromatic beers.

Hold the stem - No heat transfer. Beer stays cold. No-Brainer

I used a wine glass for stouts and such until I obtained a set of beer glasses.

Few times when having a Wild Ale, Belgian Tripels, and a few other beers needed
a glass when every other beer glass was dirty.

Dark Matter really screwed up my glass I ordered, but I still prefer to use it.

All the glassware in the cabinet is mine. I put what I want in it. (Don't tell my wife I said that...)

Page 82 in "Tasting Beer" by Randy Mosier lists the ISO (International Organization for Standardization) tasting glass as an acceptable vessel for tasting beer, more similar to a wine glass than a snifter.

Dude doesn't matter what glass as long as it's good beer....but a proper glass helps you enjoy it more
