I think most people are on some vacation. It's summer for crying out loud. All 6 weeks of it here in Minnesota. So I figure we just be flexible if people are interested in joining.

I can probably swing it if the shipping window extends through the end of July and we can specify when not to send for our targets.

Think I'm going to sit the sixer out but I'll likely be back for the next full round.

I think I'm going to have to sit out the sixer as well... Just completed a trade with a BA in the Netherlands, and the wife was not very happy about the shipping charge on that box.....

nah i don't mind sharing details, except the name of my trading partner

Trade was a box full of stouts for a box full of belgians... I packed up:
    AleSmith Speedway Stout
    Great Divide Chocolate Yeti
    Hoppin Frog BA B.O.R.I.S.
    2012 Great Divide Old Ruffian
    2x North Coast Old Rasputin
2x Oskar Blues Ten Fidy (pro tip, a stubby bottle and a can fit in one slot of a 12 shipper rather nicely)
    2013 Firestone Walker Velvet Merlin
    2012 Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout
    2012 Victory Storm King
    Deschutes Black Butte
    Duclaw Sweet Baby Jesus
    Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgerald

    and he's sending me:
4 Cantillons; Lou Pepe Geuze, Vigneronne, Iris and Cuvee St. Gilloise. Also in the box are Pannepot Grand Reserva, Westvleteren XII, Westvleteren VIII. I dont know how many Westy's but he said "a few" so I'm hoping to be able to drink one and cellar a couple for varying lengths of time.

edit: anyone have any feedback on the deal? My version of "winning" a trade is if the other guy has to repair his porch when I'm done, but I'm curious if anyone thinks this is particularly one-sided either way.

edit 2: I forgot to mention, the bottles with a year or two on them are only aged incidentally, not as part of the trade agreement (though I doubt he's complaining, nor did I go to any great lengths to acquire older bottles)

One of my kids just got back (less than an hour ago) from a trip to Europe with a Cantillon Gueuze and a Cantillon Iris for my other kid (I suspect I can coerce him into sharing). Let me know what you think of those...

$90-ish, using a 12-shpper, might've been a little less if I used a smaller box that I packed myself, but I wanted to make sure they were very safe for such a long voyage.

Will do, you too! (for the record I have no idea how long it'll take before I work up the nerve to actually open one...)

So any idea who hasn't shipped in this thing? I have an idea but don't want to call anyone out, since I am not officially in it or anything.

Looks like Mike "figured" out who hasn't sent and they are planning on sending soon.

haven't posted in what seems like a while... I am out for the sixer but just wanted to make sure I don't end up getting forgotten when the next round rolls through. New baby is due 8/16 so focus is going to be on getting ready for that more than getting ready to send beer.

Out for the summer six but in for the next full round for sure. I traded a lot lately and running out of room so I need time to drink down my stash. I like the idea of August as that is my birthday month and what makes a better birthday gift than beer
