Dogpatch sour and Ommegang didn't last more than 20 minutes. I was shocked to see those two killed first.

Hoparazzi's Mission Impeachable was enjoyable, (didn't grab the other two La Tarte's) but looking forward to seeing another local sour location pop-up.

I thought it was a great fest, and I had a great time.

My favorite was the Hoparazzi La Tarte Mango Lassi which generated a lot of buzz ... I heard many people talking about and recommending it throughout the day. Hoparazzi La Tarte Raspberry, Lost Abbey Spontaneous Cheer, Vlad The Imp Aler and Franken'ly Berry also stood out. I got the last pour of Franken'ly Berry, much to the dismay of a very annoying girl in line behind me, so that made it taste that much better, LOL.

It was a bit crowded ... Stone should sell 50 fewer tickets or at least not open the restaurant until the event is over though.

Thanks @Obsidian! Really enjoyed this Sour Fest – I’ve only gone to a few of them so I missed the Guava DDG days, but this was my favorite so far.

Hoparazzi was easily best in show for me, with Raspberry taking the top spot. Rare Barrel was kinda meh but maybe that's due to the hype/expectations. Stone gets the prize for most "nail-polish like" sour with Tiger Cub or Passion Project, (can't remember which but neither was good.) Cascade had a bunch of beer but I'm a snob and wasn't impressed. Cheer was good but tasted different, didn't have the same bite as previous tastes that I've had. Craftsman Stone Fruit was also very nice. Sweet bottle share afterward and I had the unfortunate opportunity to taste Veritas 009...woof! I got all boned up when I saw the label, not knowing which one it was, and it was downhill from there.

The grounds at Stone are beautiful and all-in-all, it was a great day. Thanks @wethorseblanket for the ticket and the beers.

If you are referring to the bottles of these at section E they never got any.

I was shocked at the line for Cantillon's Iris...maybe it was because of the name "Cantillon" but Iris was available at a multitude of bottle shops around the county. Granted, maybe only a dozen or so bottles at each shop but it was more of an easy pick up than say Lou Pepe Kriek.

I was personally not impressed with this year's selection and kept joking with my friends that the list wasn't posted because they didn't have anything super duper over-the-top wow. But joking around and such saved the day. Yay friends.

Sadly I did not join in on the bottle share.

The stone team unicorn with lavender.....vinegar at its finest! Had a sip, dumped it, grabbed a Tilquin instead.

Bottlecraft Little Italy had a dozen
Public House in La Jolla ahd about a dozen to purchase and take away/drink there
Plaza in Mira Mesa had 10 (by the time I got there)

Edit: I guess "multitude" meant about 4-5 shops that I frequent. I over-generalized and made the assumption that other shops with the same distributor received small allocations as well. I am now rethinking that perhaps this was not the case and I was just fortnate to stumble into some.

While I'm glad Hoparazzi is getting some exposure, I also don't want people to find out about them...I'm also just bitter I missed out

Some of the comments here just make me laugh... "while the casuals drank dogpatch" LOL... OK poindexter. So many uiber cool hipsters in full effect maaan... Almanac was solid, Cascade worth seeking out as always, the Bruery was my treat... got to enjoy a couple/few hundred bucks worth of solid beer in a few shots right there... missed crooked stave, but one of my buddies busted a bottle out afterwards, so it was all good... Too many little gems to mention, but Lost Abbeys SC was rad, Hopperazzi's peach as well. STONE, please reduce ticket sales next time, and please make it from 12-6. thanks.

There was a group of people in line talking about Almanac and Avery sours like they were new to them... that and some other comments I heard gave me the impression a more "casual" crowd than I was expecting.

    Just making observations, chief.
