EDIT: Sorry, I'm new to these forums. If this should be in a different Forum, please move it! Thanks!

I've been collecting unique bottle caps for a little over a year now since I turned 21, and I've got a pretty decent collection of 150 so far. I'm super curious to see the collections of others. I would love to make something, either a table top of some kind or something to hang on the wall, someday so any ideas are welcome.

I do have some cheap-beer bottle caps in the mix, but I likely wouldn't use them in my ultimate collection.

I'm really interested in seeing pictures of some collections with entirely unique caps, where no two are from the same beer.

    Cheers!

Wrong Forum. You want the Breweriana forum to find folks with similar interests.

Stone Brewing Co. approves of this post.

My girlfriend collects all of ours. I think we may be up to about 125 since November, but of course a good amount are from Mike's, Redd's and the other junk her and her roommate drank before I got my girlfriend into craft.

We collect all alcohol tops, for some reason or another. We have about 4-5 paper grocery bags full of them. We'll figure out a project someday.

I keep caps from each brewery I have sampled. Right now I'm in the 100ish range. I use magnets to stick em to my toolbox at work.

I keep all the different caps too. No repeats, but as long as they look different. Stone for example. But I have no clue what to do with them or how to display them.

I have collected caps and "crowns" of all sorts, but nowadays it's mostly just cans, glassware, some other random bits (like point-of-sale signage.) Back when I worked retail I pretty much gave all of my extra caps to a regular customer, since the guy collected caps of all kinds, and he in turn would swap me for a fresh 12 of "Carling's Black Label."

Keep them all, and not quite sure what I'll do. I'm thinking a framed picture. Likely I'll make an out line of a longhorn (UT logo) with a variety of Texas caps filling it, and then fill out the surrounding area/background with all the other unique caps from across the country.

This box is about 8x5x3. Just about necessary to spill over in to a new receptacle!

We use the bottle caps to squeeze onto the spoke of all of our bicycles...

I have kept every cap from every beer I have consumed since about 2009 ish. Also not sure what to do with them. About a year ago I decided to keep the bottle of any new beer I drank too. They tend to occupy space a little faster, so I really need to come up with a plan for them.

Don't keep every bottle. Keep only cool bottles and your favorites and no repeats. And as you try more and more better beers you can get rid of bottles that aren't as good.

I started collecting different bottle caps a couple years ago with the intention of making a table or bar with them. I only save the new ones and my rule is that if I don't drink the beer then I don't save it. Part of it is the experience of looking at the caps and knowing I tried all of them. It wouldn't mean much to me if other people gave me theirs or I bought them. Have fun collecting them. I'll try to get them out and take a picture for you if I remember.

A couple of perspectives, for scale. Organized by brewery.

I would be PeasantBottlecap without "cheap-beer bottle caps"! (They are often cool caps, too!)

I've collected every bottle cap from every commercial bottled beer I've had since 2005. I have 2 10 gallon buckets filled, and I've moved on to my 3rd about 2 months ago.

I've kept every bottle cap since 2003 or so....I keep them in the big 5 gallon plastic water jugs and now have filled about 3 full.

I've done a tabletop before, but someday I'd like to do a pixelated mural of some sort
