Beer Release (Short's Brew): Key Lime Pie

Bought key lime today in GR. Also bought a mix pack 5.0 2 weeks ago.

 

Any sightings in SE Michigan yet?

 

Hit Opperman's today, as well as the new twelve pack mixer.

 

Also, if anyone didn't get their fill of Mystery Stout, there are still five or six twelve packs (three Mystery in each, of course) at K&S in Mount Pleasant. Price is $18.99 I believe. They should be getting Key Lime tomorrow too.

 

For about a half second I thought there were 12 packs of mystery stout across the state from me, and considered quitting work early to drive there and buy them all

 

Havent seen any in gr yet.

 

I actually didn't add the parenthetical until I reread it and realized someone might think there were 12 packs of Mystery Stout. If there were 12 packs of Mystery Stout for $18.99, there definitely wouldn't be any left in Mount Pleasant.

Having my first Key Lime Pie, and I'm honestly blown away by how much it tastes like actual key lime pie... Amazingly well done Short's!

 

Picked some up, still loving it, just hard to buy more than a couple sixers with spruce pilsner on the horizon!

 

Buy MORE! There are always us Southerners that will gladly take it off your hands, for our local treats.

 

Key Lime Pie was delivered to my local shop on Tuesday...and sold out on Tuesday. Not good for me when I stopped by on Wednesday. I got to step up my game.

 

You are right. I'm going to cash in a favor or two and see if a buddy can help me out.

I tapped this today, it's mellower then previous years. Which I think makes it the best year I've ever had

 

I agree, the graham cracker doesn't seem as imposing. Lime is subtle. Goes down a lot easier than previous years' vintages. I had a pint at the pub a few years ago and couldn't finish it because it was too sweet. Not this year's.

 

Picked up a sixer in southeast Michigan today. Can't wait to try it!

 

Got my two bottles after work!

 

Picked up 12. 2 more cases were left.
