Anyone receive their refund for Couverteur?

Not yet. My Bruery account is showing a note of "Couverteur refunded" on my last order so they seem to have processed it, but it hasn't posted to my credit card account yet. I'm guessing it will in a day or two.

Emailed them yesterday because I'm in a battle to close my account with my bank, and needed confirmation when this might hit. Already processed I was told, with a 3-5 day wait. I'd assume we'll all be clear by Monday.

Why are they still pouring it at the Tasting Room?

I had a glass of Couverteur in the tasting room last weekend and asked them why they were still pouring it.

I was told that the contamination only effected the bottles.

The glass I had did not have any sign of contamination.

Never been, but from what I've seen/heard the infection issues are generally bottle related only. There's been plenty of beers on tap based on taphunter that were pulled or dumped in bottle form. Cacaonut was one I know for sure that's been on at least twice.

I don't see how their explanation of the cacao nibs contaminating the beer on the cold side would hold then. I was a little skeptical of that excuse, and since they can pour from kegs still, I'm even more skeptical. If it's just the bottles, I would assume the infection is likely occurring on/around the bottling line. Whatever the case, I feel for them, and hope these issues clear up once the new brand starts.

If they keep the kegs cold (which they do), the bacteria will go dormant and not spread the infection. Technically, the infection is still there in the kegs, it's just present at such a low level, and not spreading due to the temperature, that it's a non-issue for serving the beer on tap. It's the exact same concept as why they told everyone to keep Rue d'Floyd and Floyd d'Rue refrigerated.

Do we have to return the bottles to get our refund?

Hmmm, I still have not received my credit. At least my account doesn't show it on Bruery's site.

Anyone know what months the two remaining HS beers get released? (Mardi Rouge and Blue BBLs) They're not on the release schedule for RS.

No, you haven't. We are half way through the year - it makes sense that there is more to come.

On that note, is anyone else FREAKING out that we have not gotten Rum BT?!? : )

Will there be a big demand for R-BT? I am not a rum guy so I will likely be IP-trading all of mine but 1 off if decent interest is there.

Obviously. But Befuddlement is the main, probably only reason, I joined Hoarders so I was worried it might have gotten dropped or something.
