What beer are you drinking now? #617

Getting ready to break the ice with this delicious beer while I do some painting for an art show I have coming up.


& yes I am actually watching Rad right now.

German malts and whole-flower hops from the U.S., U.K., and Germany. Definitely more pine and citrus than I usually look for in an IPA, but overall a classic representation of how to do it right. Either way, I love it when breweries dedicate an entire line to experimentation (e.g. La Cumbre's Project Dank). And for $4.99/22oz it's a great deal.

 

Currently enjoying a Belgian Brown by Wander Brewing. Apparently @utopiajane is feeling a bit feisty today, so I counter thusly:

 

I'm done working on shit around the yard this weekend.
Going to relax on my porch in the heat with a fan and a beer.

Mission dark seas while packing the house for my move to Colorado next week.....bummed this stuff isn't distributed there

 

Just got home from vacation (eastern NC) and am enjoying a cold 'Hop Drop N Roll' out of my brand new Myrtle Beach Piggly Wiggly glass! We had lots of fun fishing and drinking decent beers on the beach.

Had many of these the first 2 days before we ran out...



Then we moved on to these...



Every year, one of the family members makes giant omelets for breakfast for one of the mornings, so my one BIL and I had these...



While my wife's uncle had this with his!!



Nothing like a Bud at 7:30 in the morning every day for him! Cheers!!

 

You are aware that you are on beer advocate right? 90% of your posts are about other things, like vodka and bourbon.

 

So which one did you prefer?

 

I"ll see ya over on NBS in a bit, but wanted to agree here. Wife and I split this a few weeks back, got it from a gracious trader.. Not a huge fruit beer guy, but that was a delicious, delicious beer. My wife really loved it and she doesn't drink much beer, or drink much period.

 

Had this while camping, not bad.

 

Was not gonna drink today. Then I ran to my parents house to grab a few things from my "cellar" and found this in the back of poppa bears fridge. Yep it's like 3-4 months old and the hops aren't quite as in your face but god I can't for this to come back out.



So pretty

 

Enjoyed the Peche Mortel earlier, and the "dead jams!"

I tripped across this when my 11-year old asked for "sublime" while he tubed behind the boat today....



Now I'm opening this as the "piece de resistance" for the lake week 2014...
