Do you have a personal Beer Scout / Purchaser?

    Just wondering if anyone knows of someone who is so rich they have a personal beer scout/ purchaser.

    This has nothing to do with personal wealth, but I have a friend who lives in an area with much better selection than where I live, so I sometimes ask him to keep an eye out for me...

    I'm basically all of my friends' personal beer scout and purchaser. I get all the good stuff from other areas, and they reap the benefits. haha

    I have a friend who travels a lot for business, he tells me where he is going, I tell him the beer he should look out for.

    Total Win-win.

    Similar situation happened to me recently: I told a buddy headed to Chicago to look out for anything 3 Floyds, and he brought some Gumballhead back for me as a thank you. Anytime, buddy. Anytime.

    I can't afford a full time beer scout (hoping that changes if/when the next promotion happens), but I pay a guy who works for me part time, Wed-Fri. Weekends I have covered myself. Anything that gets released Mon-Tue usually means I'm SOL.

    I'm sure someone super wealthy has hired a Master Cicerone for this type of activity- probably moreso for planning parties/pairings than just shopping for beer.

    I'm the scout for 2 of my buddies. I'm cool with the beer guy at a store near my work so whenever something special/limited comes in, he'll shoot me a text and offer to hold some for me.
