Allagash Saison the best seasonal shelf saison at a great price point that is readily available.
Trinity Red Swing Line a funky and super hoppy beer with great mouthfeel. Trinities best offering that I have tried.
Bull and Bush Legend of the Liquid Brain this is really excellant; its better than BCBS in my opinion!
Jester King Beer de Miel this one really reminds me alot of HF Anna; nuff said!

A fantastic beer; unfortunately, living in San Diego now, I don't have access to it anymore.

Limiting myself to Washington and stuff that isn't a total ghost (like Fremont Olde Bridge Rider or Rusty Nail) ... and that I've drank recently because most Washington beer is unknown:

Black Raven - Old Birdbrain (or Trickster ... or Wisdom Seeker ... or Grandfather Raven)
Silver City - Le Fat (sour scotch ale? tasty)
Fremont - Oak Aged Dark Star with Smoked Pepper & Hazelnuts (though the previously mentioned Cowiche Canyon and The Brother IPAs are also great)
Reuben's - Imperial Rye IPA / Imperial Oatmeal Stout (or, rarer, Bourbon Barrel Imperial Stout ... or Blimey! That's Bitter triple IPA)
Engine House 9 / De Garde - Voltron Brett IPA

If I extended to Oregon I'd add:

    Breakside - Passionfruit Sour
Double Mountain - Lulu hibiscus & pink peppercorn saison or Tahoma Kriek
10 Barrel - Cucumber Crush (or German Sparkle Party & Raspberry Crush)
Heater Allen - Anything, really ... but their Pils is a good choice
Boneyard - Armored Fist (I know, Boneyard isn't unknown ... but nobody really looks at a CDA and thinks 'I have to have that' ... this one is amazing)
If Boneyard doesn't count as unknown, I'll say Barley Brown - Tank Slapper or Forklift ... to of the best IPAs / IIPAs you'll have

On this forum? Here you go, Budweiser, Fosters, and Millers, we are all about "craft" beers here.

On a more serious note, if you can find it, Highland Brewing's 20th anniversary Scotch Ale is very good. Anything else local you probably couldn't find up in Conn.

I'm from the west coast, haven't lived in the NE long. I'm sure there are plenty of beers that were new to you at some time too. haha

I trade and travel, so where it is isn't a big concern as long as it's reasonably attainable.

Keeping it to beers under 750 reviews, and in no particular order:

Voodoo Brewing Eagle Rare BA Tenacious Wee
    Hoppin' Frog Bairille Aois B.O.R.I.S
Cigar City Cafe con Leche Stout
    Maumee Bay Brewing Amarillo Brillo
Maumee Bay Brewing Total Eclipse Breakfast Stout

A couple are locals I plug without shame because they're just that good.

Mayflower Porter, while not unknown, definitely flies under the radar. It's right up there with the best porters I have ever had. Save for Edmund Fitzgerald, I'd say it's the best porter I've had.

Jack's Abby Jabby Brau. Amazing beer.

    • Fyne Ales - Jarl. A Citra jam session.
    • Fyne Ales - Hurricane Jack. Classic, clean hoppy brew.
    • Fiddlehead - HoDad Porter. Chocolate, Vanilla and Toasted Coconut goodness!
