Nope. We are always a week after Madison on NG releases. I'm thinking a case. At least.

A case of Oud and a case of Cranbic. Good times.

I'd like Dan to blend a batch of Cranbic and Apple Ale together.

This is going to get expensive quickly!

After shipping though the math breaks down to under $15 a 4-pack. That is really hard to beat for a beer of this quality.

Per Facebook the Bruin is available at the depot today and is shipping next week.

I grabbed a couple extra from the depot today if any FIBs want to try it over the holiday weekend. Love you Wisconsin

Anyone been to the Kenosha Woodmans this week? If so, how's the stock of NG fruit beers and Scream looking? Heading up there tomorrow to pick up a keg from Tenuta's and plan on stopping in. I know they're usually well stocked on the fruit beers but was just curious and even more curious about Scream. Thanks for the help.

Speaking of fruit beers, Woodman's West Madison had a sign up saying that Belgian Red and Raspberry Tart were going away soon and that you might want to stock up. Anyone else hear anything about this? If it's true I do need to stock up.

Going away for a while, but they will be brewed again each year. Strawbarb is up next.

Oud Bruin will be in next week. Talked to the guy who delivers it and he said Woodmans will get 10-15 cases of it which didn't seem like very much.

why not both? New Glarus is great and all, really, but the Great Taste is... words fail me. the greatest place on earth?

Kenosha Woodmans had a good amount of Scream and fruit variants with the exception of Belgian Red (they had about a dozen in the cooler, none on the floor).

New Glarus has a good amount of Oud Bruin, $55/case, no limits. Entire pallet on the floor today, July 3. Currently not on tap in the tap room, haven't seen many people walk out with any.

If you're still there, would love if you could mule a case for me. I'd give yah the cash and something extra to drink. Assuming you're there of course.

This actually bodes well for us in Wisconsin- some shops only got 10-15 cases of Scream (or less) and it still seems to be all over the place. My hunch is that Oud Bruin will sell out in a few spots (popular bottle shops in MKE & Madison) but will probably be available in EC, Wisconsin Dells, La Crosse, and smaller towns & grocery stores for some time. Well, once it gets there in the first place, I mean.

That seems like a really low price for a case of 24 (6 4-packs). Usually they retail for $10-11 a 4-pack, and the Beer Depot used to sell their beer above retail (They didn't want to under-cut the shops they were distributing to). So maybe the Oud Bruin will actually be around $8.99 on retail shelves, or maybe NG changed their Beer Depot pricing policy?

Woodman's sells all the TPs for $55+ a case. Most places sell the TPs for $10+ a 4pk.

I'll be in Madison on July 16th and will be stopping at new glarus and other places. Will the fruit beers still be around? Never thought I would have to ask that question.

I can't speak for Madison specifically, but if it's anything like Milwaukee, you will have no problem finding all the fruit beers.

They might be running lower at some spots, but will most likely be sitting around for a while at others. If you strike out at the more popular stores like Woodmans, Steves, etc, make sure to hit up the smaller grocery stores and out-of-the-way liquor stores. While some of them won't get the rare stuff these days, they're usually pretty good at getting NG.

Ugh, please tell me it's not true of them pulling Tart and Red from shelves really soon. My buddies and I have never had any New Glarus and I'm actually driving from Memphis on Monday to get everything I possibly can from NG. I really hope that I have a chance to get everything possible.
