We still haven't seen the last haul from the first BIF in this group right? Is that coming soon? Or did I miss it?

 

I was considering asking whether it was the Golf open or the Tennis open, but figured your username answers that question.

This was June 24th, "weeks end" would've been a week ago, and we have yet to hear from you since. A BIF's OP should be the first guy to offer a consolation box to someone whose sender vanished, not the guy doing the vanishing.

 

If it needs to happen, consolation box from Jersey will happen.

 

We'll collaborate and save on shipping, I was thinking the same thing. Besides, PA has better beers anyway (OH! No he di-int!)

edit: This guy doesn't really have any wants from PA/NJ, but I can easily hit 4 of them in addition to some PA locals.

 

If that is the case, we might just have to bottle share...

 

You're on. I actually have the framework for one in the back of my mind (ie a location and invite list but no date). In my head it's mostly with SWTFYW guys from the area, but if you're up for coming to the suburbs of Philly (Fort Washington exit of the PA tpk) you're certainly invited. Bring the full set of ANTEAD that all NJ residents were given, will you?

I've only got base ANTEAD... But I'm sure something else in the cellar would be enjoyed, too.

 

Guys - let me try and chase down our OP -- we figured out that he actually works at a Beer/Wine store about a half an hour from my office (but in the wrong direction); I keep meaning to stop by, check out the store, and meet him -- the first time I had about 15 minutes and happened to show up during his break and missed him, the second time I had to change plans because of horrendous traffic. I'll figure out a way to get there this week during lunch one day and figure out the deal on him shipping.

And if he bails, I'll obviously contribute to the consolation box.

 

I have no doubt of that whatsoever. What's the story with ANTEAD? Still available at the brewery or has that been gone a long time? Is the brewery worth a visit besides that release?

Appreciated man, hopefully he really has just been busy. If you actually meet him in person, maybe arrange to take bottles from him and pack up the box of his beer yourself? I'll paypal you to cover some/all of the shipping cost if you do the legwork on that.

If he really is just flat out too busy to pack/ship a box (really?) maybe he can at least honor his commitment on the beer end.

Totally worth a visit. Especially if they have Morning Bell with cinnamon and maple...

Completely agree, but that's a much better option than putting together a consolation box, at least then it's his beer going to his target, and the rest of the group has only ponied up a label (and your time/packing materials, of course)

 

Hint #4: One of the beers that I'm including currently has two ratings, one of which is from today as it was only officially released today. As long as my target likes this message. Or probably anyway, but I'll feel better if my target likes this message. Beer is listed as a "American Wild Ale".
Hint #5: My target has been on BA less time than I have.
