In the beer hunter series, Jackson pronounced it Gerza. I'm still wondering what the correct way is.

    Depends on the language.

In French it sounds like 'Gerz'.

on a sweltering Friday night at a Larkin Poe gig I had two splendid pints of beautifully conditioned Real Ale. Both hit the spot and were deeply satisfying, in fact I could have happily had a few more.

    What were they you ask.

    I kid you not.

    Judas!

    Resign!

Horses for courses, if I was watching Uncle Earl or the Carolina Chocolate Drops I don't think a hop monster or a barrel aged job would pass muster.

Being a Mancunian, though not the greatest bitter
a pint of Lee's is a vast improvement on Nitro muck John Smiths
when pubbing it with none real ale/craft beer fans

Was down in Cornwall for the last week, didn't get the chance to check out many beers just the usual suspects on offer on cask/keg

Tribute - still tastes like tribute, bit dull
Doom bar - had the first pint of a new cask and it was actually quite nice, in a fruity-bitter non offensive way
Harbour IPA - nice solid ipa
    Betty Stoggs - so-so bitter
Sharp's Cornish Pilsner - best of the bunch somewhat surprisingly, it has very low bitterness which is a shame but is nicely dry, good pils malt flavour and a lovely lemony hop presence
